The same standard as the rest of this site: say what is true, plainly, including the parts that are unglamorous. This page describes how UNFOLD MMA actually works — not a template, not a promise we don't keep.
Privacy
The short version
The public site collects no personal information about you. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookie, and no third-party pixel. You can read every page without an account, and nothing you read is logged to a profile about you.
What is collected, and by whom
UNFOLD MMA is a static site served by Vercel and backed by a read-only data mirror on Supabase. Like any web host, Vercel automatically keeps standard server logs — the requesting IP address, timestamp, page requested, and browser user-agent — for a limited period, to operate the service and defend it against abuse. We do not combine those logs with any other data, do not use them to identify you, and do not sell or share them. Their handling is governed by Vercel's privacy policy.
The newsletter box
The “Follow” email field is not connected to any mailing provider yet, and it stores nothing — it is an honest “coming soon” state. If that changes, this page will say so before a single address is stored, and signing up will be optional and revocable.
Cookies
The public site sets no tracking cookies. The private admin area (a single operator account) uses one strictly-necessary session cookie to keep that operator signed in. A cookie that is essential to a function you asked for requires no consent banner under California and EU rules, which is why you won't see one here.
Your rights (California)
UNFOLD MMA is operated from California. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to have it deleted, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. Because this site holds no personal information about visitors, there is in practice nothing to disclose, correct, or delete — but if you believe otherwise, write to us at the address below and we will respond.
Children
This site is general-audience and is not directed at children under 13, and it knowingly collects no information from anyone, children included.
Terms of use
What this site is
UNFOLD MMA publishes calibrated UFC fight analysis and a transparent prediction record. Everything here is analysis and entertainment. It is not betting advice, not financial advice, and not a recommendation to wager. Predictions are probabilistic and frequently wrong — that is the whole point of measuring calibration in the open — and nothing on this site should be relied on to place a bet or make any decision with money. You are responsible for your own choices and for the gambling laws where you live.
No affiliation
UNFOLD MMA is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Zuffa/TKO, or any promotion, fighter, or sportsbook. “UFC” and fighters' names are used descriptively to report factual results. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Fighter data and imagery
Statistical data is compiled from public sources and presented as analysis. Where a fighter photograph appears, it is displayed by inline link from the UFC's own servers — UNFOLD MMA does not copy, store, re-host, or modify UFC photography, and a profile with no available image falls back to initials. We believe this is consistent with the display right as applied in the Ninth Circuit; if a rights-holder objects, the fix is to switch the fallback on, and we will.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the data accurate and correct it in the open when it is wrong, but we do not warrant that every figure is error-free, and — to the fullest extent permitted by law — UNFOLD MMA is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including any wager placed in reliance on it.
